Cludde, Catherine Harriet (1793 -1859)

Catherine Harriett Cludde was the only daughter of Lieutenant General Sir William Cockburn, 6th Baronet, and his first wife, Eliza Anne, daughter of Colonel Henry Frederick Creutzer, of Mannheim in Germany. She married, 6 May 1828, Edward Cludde, of Orleton and Wrockwerdine in Shropshire. Their only daughter and heir, Anna Maria Cludde (d. 1906), married, 22 June 1854, the Honourable Robert Charles Herbert, fourth son of Edward, 2nd Earl Powis, Barrister at law, and Chancellor of the Litchfield Diocese. After Anna Maria's death13 March 1906 Orleton Hall passed to their granddaughter Phyllis Hedworth Camilla Herbert and her husband, Martin Drummond Vesey Holt.
