Identified as the late sixteenth century stamp of Corbet, by George Smith and F.B. Benger (A collection of armorial bookbindings. London, Ellis, 1927 p.20). However these may be the arms of Rolfe. Papworth gives those of Rolfe of Chiselhurst in Kent as Argent three ravens sable a cinquefoil in chief for difference vert.
