Surtees; a collection of books relating to Ireland etc. The Erasmus is not mentioned in the catalogue, but there are some miscellaneous lots. The crest of the Carlow family of Kavanagh is Between the arms of a crescent gules a garb or, with the arms Argent a lion passant and in base two crescents gules, and the motto Siothchain agus fairsinge.
