Salisbury N/A

Burke's General Armory gives the arms of Salisbury or Salisberye as Azure on a saltire argent five martlets gules. This is not the arms of the well known Welsh family. Papworth's Ordinary adds Sir Thos. Salsbury from a manuscript of Glover's Ordinary. No other family has arms that could be those in the first and fourth quarters of this stamp. The martlets on the arms of Gillon of Wallhouse in Scotland are volant (Lyon Register 1676).
