Tempest, Arthur Cecil (1837 -1920)

Arthur Cecil Tempest, of Broughton Hall, Skipton in Craven, Yorkshire, and Coleby Hall, Lincolnshire, was the fourth son of Henry Tempest, of Newland Park in Yorkshire, and Jemima, daughter of Sir Thomas Joseph De Trafford, 1st Baronet of Trafford Park. He was a Major in the 11th Hussars, Deputy Lieutenant and a Justice of the Peace for Lincolnshire and for the West Riding of Yorkshire. He married, 28 April 1873, Eleanor Blanche, second daughter of Edward Horner Reynard of Sunderlandwick and Hobgreen in Yorkshire.
