Watson, James -1784)

James Watson of the Inner Temple married Isobel, daughter of William Haig, on 10 June 1757. He received an M.A. 16 January 1778 from Edinburgh University and an L.L.D. on the same day. He was a Fellow of the Royal Society. He died 4 October 1784 and was succeeded by his son George. The arms and crest were granted to Watson of Saughton. Lyon Register 1673.
