Allan, Anne (1800 -1871)

The arms, crest and motto were granted to Allan of Glen in Peebleshire in 1813. Anne Allan was the daughter of Alexander Allan of Hillside. She married William Aitchison of Drummore near Musselburgh in East Lothian. He died in 1846, and she in 1871, and was buried in the kirkyard of St Michael's Kirk, Inveresk.
