Beaumont, Richard Henry (1748 -1810)

Richard Henry Beaumont, of Whitley Beaumont in Yorkshire, was the elder son of Richard Beaumont Esq, of Whitley Beaumont, and his second wife, Elizabeth, daughter and eventual heir of William Holt Esq of Grizlehirst and Little Milton in Lincolnshire. Educated at Brasenose College, Oxford, where he matriculated 30 April 1767, age 18, he was created M.A. 19 January 1771. He was elected Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London. He never married and his estate passed to his brother John, at his death 22 November 1810.
