Buchanan, Francis Christian (1853 -1920)

Francis Christian Buchanan of Clarinish House, Helensburgh was the fourth son of John Buchanan of Dowanhill, merchant of Glasgow, and Jane, daughter of John Young, merchant of Glasgow. He was a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and a Member of the Royal Commission on Ancient Monuments for Scotland.
