Burwell, Jeffrey, Sir (1606 -1684)

Sir Jeffrey Burwell of Rougham Place, Suffolk married Elizabeth Derehaugh. Their daughter Mary married Robert Walpole of Houghton Hall, Norfolk, and bore nineteen children, the fifth of which, Robert, became the first Earl of Orford, and Britain’s first Prime Minister.
