Coape, James (1814 -1889)

James Coape, a descendant of the family of Coape of Farnagh, Duffield, Derbyshire, was the son of Henry Coape and Susanna Frazer. He attended Cambridge University. 8 October 1840 he married Georgeana, daughter and heiress of George Henry Arnold Esq. of Ashby St. Ledgers, Northamptonshire, with whom he had one son and two daughters. He died at Southampton in 1889.
