Curzon, Nathaniel, 2nd Baron Scarsdale (1751 -1837)

Nathaniel Curzon was the son of Nathaniel Curzon, 1st Lord Scarsdale of Kedleston Hall, and his wife Lady Carolina Colyear, daughter of Charles, Earl of Portmore. He was elected as Tory Member of Parliament for Derbyshire in 1775, a seat he held until 1784. In 1804 he succeeded his father to the title Lord Scarsdale. Curzon married, in July 1777 Sophia-Susanna, daughter of Edward, Viscount Wentworth. His eldest son Nathaniel succeeded to the title and became the 3rd Lord Scarsdale.
