The arms of Door or Doore of Devon and Cornwall, Per pale gules and azure three stag beetles wings extended or, with the crest A demi tiger azure crined and tufted or holding between the paws an escallop gold, were granted in April 1605, by William Camden, Clarenceaux King of Arms. The grant is recorded in Harleian MSS 1422 folio 19; and 6095 folio 4 as Door, and in Harleian MS 1441 folio 20 as Dore. Unfortunately no christian name is given.
