Fitzgerald, John Fraunceis, 22nd Knight of Glin (1791 -1853)

John Fraunceis Fitzgerald, 22nd Knight of Glin, of Glin Castle, County Limerick, was the only son of John Fitzgerald, 21st Knight of Glin, and Margaretta Maria, daughter of John Fraunceis Gwynn, Esquire, of Ford Abbey, county Devon. He married, July 28, 1812, Bridget, fifth daughter of Rev. Joseph Eyre of Westerham, county Kent, England.. The marriage produced two sons and two daughters. The second son, Edmond Urmston McLeod Fitzgerald (b. 1817) succeeded to the title as 23rd Knight of Glin.
