Harriat, Thomas (1588 -1653)

Thomas Harriat Esq., Citizen and Skinner of London, was born in Wollaston in Northamptonshire, and left books to the Skinners Company of London. Stow says that Sir William Harriot, alias Herriot, Lord Mayor of London in 1481, bore Per pale ermines and ermine three crescents counterchanged. Presumably Thomas was of the same family.
