Heath, Robert Amadeus, 2nd Baron (1818 -1892)

Robert Amadeus Heath was the eldest son of John Benjamin Heath, 1st Baron Heath of the Kingdom of Italy, and succeeded to the title on his father's death in 1879. He was educated at Harrow School. Like his father he was an Italian merchant in London, and served as Vice Consul General for Sardinia 1844 1861, for Italy 1861 1879, and Consul General 1879 1882. He was a member of the Roxburghe Club. Part of the family library was sold as part of the library of Amédee John Heath, Baron Heath by Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge 7 November 1892.
