Hyett, William Henry (1795 -1877)

According to Stephen Ferguson of Princeton University this is the crest of Hyett.   William Henry Hyett (1795-1877), was a British Liberal Member of Parliament representing Stroud.  He was the son of the Rev. Henry Cay Adams and his wife Frances Marston.   Born William Henry Adams, in 1813 he changed his surname when he inherited the property of Benjamin Hyett.  He lived in Painswick House in Gloucestershire.  He established the first mental hospital in Gloucester.
