Magdalene College, Cambridge N/A
The arms of Magdalene College Cambridge are those of the founder Thomas, Lord Audley of Walden. The forerunner of the College was a Benedictine hostel established in 1428 by Croyland Abbey, and from at least 1483 it was known as Buckingham College. In April 1542 Buckingham College was refounded as The College of St Mary Magdelene.
