Richard Mansuer, of Holkham in Norfolk, was the second son of John Mansuer of North Creke in Norfolk, and his second wife, Elizabeth, daughter and heir of Richard Norton and was heir to his half brother Henry. He married Alice, daughter of Gyles Sefoule of Waterton in Norfolk and widow of Thomas Pepis.
