Martin, Richard Biddulph, Sir, 1st Baronet, of Overbury Court (1838 -1916)

Sir Richard Biddulph Martin, of Overbury Court, Tewkesbury, Worcestershire, was the eldest son of Robert Martin, of Overbury Court, and Mary Anne, daughter of John Biddulph M.P. Educated at Exeter College, Oxford, where he took his M.A. in 1863, he was Chairman of Martin's Bank, a Member of Parliament for Tewkesbury 1880 5, and for the Mid or Droitwich Division of Worcestershire 1892 1906, a Justice of the Peace for the counties of Worcester, Gloucester and Kent, and was created a baronet 12 December 1905. He married, 25 August 1864, Mary Frances, only daughter of Admiral Richard Crozier, K.T.S. of West Hill, Isle of Wight. He died in 1916 without issue and the baronetcy became extinct.
