Paulet, John, Sir (1579 -1632)

Sir John Paulet of Hyde Street, near Winchester, was the second of the four illegitimate sons of William Paulet, 3rd Marquess of Winchester, and Jane Lambert. He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he matriculated 28 November 1595, age 16. He became a student of the Middle Temple and was knighted 23 July 1603 (?).
