Barnard, Henry Gee Boldero (1789 -1858)

Henry Gee Boldero Barnard, of Cave Castle in Yorkshire, was the eldest son of Henry Boldero Barnard Esq, of Cave Castle, and Sarah Elizabeth, elder daughter and coheir of Roger Gee Esq, of Bishop Burton in Yorkshire. He succeeded his father in 1815, and was a Captain in the Scots Greys. He married, 8 April 1834, Elizabeth Mary, daughter of Henry Elliot Esq., of Clonmel, but died without issue 23 April 1858. His library, which was strong in heraldry, was sold at Sotheby's in London 23 24 June 1925.
