Bartholomew, John (1747 -1824)

Possibly John Bartholomew of Cotton Hall, Glasgow, a major cotton spinner and proprietor of several factories. He died in Helensburgh on the 30th September 1824. Bartholomew Street in Glasgow is named in his honour.
