Bell, Henry (1803 -1887)

Henry Bell of Woolsington, Northumberland was the 4th son of Matthew Bell of Woolsington and Sarah Frances daughter of Charles Brandling. Born in 1803, he succeeded his elder brother Matthew in the estate of Woolsington in 1871. He had formerly been a Captain in the 29th and 36th Regiments. He married in 1831 only daughter and heir of Sir William Bagnell Burdett 3rd Bart but they had no children. He died 17 November 1887 and was succeeded by his nephew Charles Loraine Bell.
