Bover, George (1764 -1839)

George Bover of Stockton Lodge, Appleton, near Warrington, in Cheshire, was educated at Warrington Grammar School. From a distinguished naval family, he was infirm and was declared unfit for naval duties. Instead he became a solicitor mainly in Warrington, where he became the senior partner of his firm. He died unmarried in 1839.
