Clayton, John Lloyd (1796 -1855)

John Lloyd Clayton was born 19 August 1796 the third son of Sir William Clayton, 4th Baronet of Marden Park in Surrey, and Mary, only daughter of Sir William East Baronet of Hall Place Berkshire. He was a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy. He married, 10 April 1832, Louisa Sophia only daughter of Charles Littledale of Portland Place . She died 2 March 1841 and he died 16 October 1855, leaving an only son, John William Clayton, a Captain in the 13th Light Dragoons and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
