Cuninghame, John (1835 -1879)

John Cuninghame the 13th Laird of Balgownie was the eldest son of Alexander Cuninghame and Helen Dunmore, daughter of Robert Brown of Newhall. A Captain in the 12th Lancers and a Justice of the Peace, he married, 7 August 1866, Helen Rebecca, daughter and heir of Æneas Ranaldson Macdonnell, 16th Laird of Glengarry.
