Clements attributes the stamp to the family of D'Oyly. Unfortunately without tinctures the arms are too common for useful speculation. Or two bends azure is D'Oyly, Or two bends gules is Sudeley, Or two bends sable is Hallep of Cornwall, Sable two bends argent is Hareford etc. etc.
