Fleming, John (1575 -1643)
John Fleming of Rydal Hall, in Cumberland was the eldest son of William Fleming. He was a Justice of the Peace for Westmorland and for Lancashire and High Sheriff of Lancashire in 1611. He married three times, but his only son dying without issue, his property passed to his great nephew Sir Daniel Fleming (1633 1701), a well known antiquary, who wrote his name in many of the books.
