Hoare, Henry Merrik (1770 -1856)

Henry Merrik Hoare, a banker, was the fourth son of Sir Richard Hoare, 1st Baronet, of Barn Elms, and of Stourhead in Wiltshire, and his second wife Frances Ann, daughter of Richard Acland. A partner in Hoare's bank in 1794, he married, 13 August 1807, Sophia, third daughter of Henry Thrale Esq. of Streatham in Surrey, but they had no children. She died 8 November 1824.
