Lauder, William (1807 -1885)

The Reverend William Lauder was born at Ballachulish in 1807. He studied at Glasgow University, and at the Divinity Hall in Edinburgh, He was ordained at Invergarry in 1840, signed the Act of Separation and the Deed of Demission, and was translated in 1844 to Strachur and Strathlachan. In the same year he married Jean Cameron. He died in 1885.
