Leveson-Gower, Harriet Elizabeth Georgina, Duchess of Sutherland (1806 -1868)
Harriet Elizabeth Georgina Howard, third daughter of the 6th Earl of Carlisle, and Mistress of the Robes to Queen Victoria, married, 28 May 1823, George Granville Leveson-Gower, Lord Gower. He succeeded his father as 2nd Duke of Sutherland in 1833. Like his father he was a Knight of the Garter. The library of the 2nd Duke was sold at auction by Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge on 10 March 1892.
