Lousada, Percy Martindale (1823 -1859)
Percy Lousada only son of David Lousada of St George’s, Bloomsbury was educated at Merton College, Oxford and matriculated 12 June 1841 aged 18. He entered the Inner Temple in 1844, but took holy orders and was minister at St John’s Chapel, St John’s Wood. In 1848 he married Mary Eliza, second daughter of M. Gutteres of Sidmouth. He died 7 September 1859 aged 36 and his congregation published a memorial collection of his sermons the following year.
