Maclean N/A

A celebrated Highland clan, with many branches. Duart Castle on the Isle of Mull dates back to the thirteenth century, and is the seat of the MacLean clan.  After changing hands a number of times, the remains of the castle were abandoned in 1751. On 11 September 1911, the ruin was bought by Sir Fitzroy Donald MacLean, the 26th Chief of the Clan MacLean, and restored. The Morvern peninsula is located in the Highlands on the west coast of Scotland.
