Madden, Thomas -1640)

Thomas Madden Esq. of Baggots Rath, co. Dublin, was the eldest son of John Madden, Esq., of Bloxham Beauchamp, Oxfordshire. Thomas was comptroller to Thomas Wentworth, Earl of Strafford, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland.
He married Elizabeth, daughter of William Pettiver, of Middleton Chiney, Northamptonshire. They had six sons, and one daughter. The eldest son, John, was his heir.
Thomas died 30 January 1640 and was buried in Dublin.
