Stewart, Alexander John Robert (1827 -1904)

Alexander John Robert Stewart of Ards in County Donegal was the only son of Alexander Robert Stewart and Caroline Anne, third daughter of John Jeffreys, 1st Marquess Camden. He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. He succeeded his father in 1850. He married, in 1851, Isabella Rebecca Toler, sixth daughter of Hector, 2nd Earl of Norbury. He was a Justice of the Peace for County Donegal, County Down and Middlesex, and Deputy Lieutenant for County Donegal (High Sheriff 1853) and for County Down (High Sheriff 1861 1862).
