To Edward Wood, of Sandwich co. Kent; arms confirmed and crest granted 20 November 1574, by Cooke, Clarenceux: Crest—An arm embowed habited in green leaves, the hand and elbow holding a broken spear in three pieces, one in pale and two in saltire.

Possibly Henry Wood of Sandwich, Kent. Cf. Fairbairn’s crests. In the Kent census of 1891 there was a Henry Wood, aged 64, living on Worth Street with his wife Caroline, and son Alfred James.
Possibly Henry Wood (1811-1894) of Ickham (Kent). In 1839 he married Mary Ann Cock.
